Allergies? Use Face Yoga

‘Tis the allergy season, but there’s no reason for you to suffer needlessly, not where there are a lot of great natural hacks out there. You can use face yoga, facial reflexology, and hand and foot massage to help ease sinuses, headaches, and general aches and pains.

Lymphatic Drain Allergy Symptoms

One of the best things you can do for your allergies is to clear your lymphatic system. You may have noticed that all my routines start and end with lymphatic draining, and there’s a reason for that. The lymphatic vessels carry lymph (fluid) through your circulatory system and lymph nodes and back to your heart. When it’s not cleared properly, the vessels can become clogged and cause lymphedema, or swelling.

Lymphatic System

A very important part of face yoga and your total body care.

Allergy Hack

Think of your body like a dirty fish tank without a filter. That’s what happens when the lymph isn’t cleared. It causes swelling in the face (think of eye bags, jowls, puffy cheeks, and even double chin) and the rest of the body (think of ankles, feet, underarms, etc). That’s why it’s so important to do lymphatic drain.

Face Yoga and Facial Reflexology for Allergy Symptoms

Yes, face yoga and facial reflexology can help with symptoms such as blocked sinuses, headaches, puffy eyes, and more. Different points on our face, head, hands, and feet correlate with different parts of the body. By activating these points, we help to reduce swelling, improve blood flow, and get circulation flowing.
